Radiology & Imaging Specialists (RIS) is physician-owned and for over 30 years has provided our community with the highest quality medical imaging services. RIS has approximately twenty board-certified radiologists, many of who are sub-specialized. We have four conveniently-located facilities throughout Polk and Hillsborough Counties.
Radiology & Imaging Specialists has all the advanced imaging modalities including PET/CT, multi-slice CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, digital mammography, bone densitometry and conventional x-rays. RIS has the latest innovations including PET/CT scan, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies, and Upright Open High Field MRI. We also provide all types of diagnostic imaging and a full range of interventional procedures that are performed at the hospitals we are associated with. RIS is continuously striving to improve your quality of care by investing in state-of-the art equipment and imaging technology, including our picture archival and communications system (PACS). Our accredited facilities are staffed with experienced and dedicated radiologists.
